Others in attendance were Ozzie Smith, Whitey Herzog, Stan Musial and Tony La Russa, along with Cardinals front office staff members and thousands of fans.
Did you know that the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum collection is comprised of over 16,000 catalogued items including, but not limited to, equipment, uniforms, stadium giveaways, scorecards, ticket stubs, awards, jewelry and even a wax figure? Pictured here are a few of the teams commemorative "black bats" awarded by Louisville Slugger to the AL and NL pennant winners.
David Freese, MVP of the 2011 NLCS and World Series, wore these batting gloves during the 2011 season. Made by Nike, these red and white Diamond Elite model gloves are the same style he wore while clubbing the game-winning home run in extra innings of the sixth game of the World Series.
