In the latest Players Talk show, Brad Wilkerson discusses growing up as a baseball fan with no home team to root for, his road back after several injury issues, and the necessity of practice during the rigorous baseball season.

After an injury-shortened 2006 season, the former Florida Gator has returned strong this year, clubbing 14 home runs and driving in 42 runs so far. In addition, Wilkerson became the first player in 2007 to hit three home runs in one game. Not known as a home-run hitter, Wilkerson discusses his approach at the plate that sometimes results in such powerful displays.

"You don't try to go up there and hit a home run -- it just happens," Wilkerson says. "It's about relaxing and putting a good swing on the ball, and if it's up in the zone, you might hit one. But, sometimes they're hard to come by, even in batting practice."
