Help the A's Strike Out Hunger on Food Bank Wednesdays sponsored by the A's Community Fund! At every Wednesday home game beginning on June 26th, fans can donate five cans of food or $5 at one of the Alameda County Community Food Bank tents outside the ballpark and receive a 2 for 1 ticket voucher for a future A's game - up to four vouchers per person.
This season, the A's are partnering with Sims Recycling Solutions to reduce waste and recycle as a part of the Used Phone Recycling program. Fans are asked to donate their old cell phones, working or not, at the Guest Relations Booth behind Section 120 every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday home games, in addition to the May 27 and 28 games. Fans who drop off a phone to the collection bin will receive a two-for-one voucher good for Field Level tickets to an A's home game (some restrictions apply). Additionally, for every phone donated, Sims will make a donation to the A's Community Fund.
The Little A's program gives 10,000 deserving youth and their chaperones of non-profit organizations the opportunity to attend an A's game free of charge. In addition to a game ticket, each child receives a Bank of America souvenir and child-admission pass to the Oakland Zoo. The Little A's program is presented by Bank of America and supported by the Oakland Zoo and Clorox.
