Left-hander Zach Duke ran into his first rough stretch of the season -- on his birthday, no less -- and the Pirates' offense was stifled by Braves starter Javier Vazquez. Pittsburgh avoided being shut out when Ramon Vazquez was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the ninth.
