Braves drop heartbreaker
Astros 12, Braves 11
Mark Teixeira hit his second homer as a member of the Braves on Thursday. (Gregory Smith/AP)
 Diaz's two-run homer
Mark Teixeira hit a deep homer in the fourth, but the game would go to extras. The Astros took a two-run lead in the 12th, but Matt Diaz's homer tied it in the top half of the frame. Oscar Villareal allowed the go-ahead run in the top of the 14th, though, in the loss.
