NEW YORK -- Braves left fielder Justin Upton remains in third place as this year's 2014 All-Star Game MLB.com Final Vote Sponsored by Experian enters its final hours. To gain a spot on the National League's All-Star roster, he will need to overtake the Rockies' Justin Morneau and the Cubs' Anthony Rizzo, who jumped ahead of Morneau for first place on Thursday.
#VoteJUP seems destined to be one of Twitter's most popular trending topics today, as the social media outlet provides a voting option. Every Tweet that includes #VoteJUP, until polling closes at 4 p.m. ET, will count as a vote for Upton.
The hashtags and text designations are as follows:
Dallas Keuchel: #VoteKeuchel (A1)
Corey Kluber: #VoteKluber (A2)
Rick Porcello: #PickRick (A3)
Garrett Richards: #VoteGRich (A4)
Chris Sale: #TargetSale (A5)
Casey McGehee: #VoteHitsMcGehee (N1)
Justin Morneau: #VoteMorneau (N2)
Anthony Rendon: #VoteRendon (N3)
Anthony Rizzo: #VoteRizzo (N4)
Justin Upton: #VoteJUp (N5)

Explaining the Twitter angle might not be necessary for Braves fans, who used this option to help Freddie Freeman garner more votes than any player in Final Vote history last year. Atlanta fans also helped former Braves center fielder Michael Bourn garner more Twitter votes than any other Final Vote candidate in 2012.
The Braves wore #VoteJUP T-shirts during batting practice before Wednesday night's game against the Mets.
"It has been a great experience," Upton said. "I'm just having fun with it and enjoying the interaction I have had with the fans. There are five guys with great numbers on that ballot. Every guy is deserving. So I just look at it as, may the best man win."
