Braves Agree to Terms with RHP Jordan Walden

The Atlanta Braves have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with right-handed pitcher Jordan Walden for the 2014 season.

Walden, who was acquired by the Braves in November of 2012, went 4-3 with a 3.45 ERA while logging 54 strikeouts in 47 innings over 50 relief appearances for Atlanta in 2013.

The Braves have eight remaining arbitration-eligible players on their 40-man roster who are unsigned for the upcoming season - right-handed pitchers Brandon Beachy, Craig Kimbrel, and Kris Medlen, left-handed pitcher Mike Minor, first baseman Freddie Freeman, infielder Chris Johnson and outfielders Jason Heyward and Jordan Schafer.
