Atlanta Braves announce new Senior Director of Information Technology

The Atlanta Braves have hired Greg Gatti as their new Senior Director of Information Technology. Gatti begins his new assignment today.
Gatti will be responsible for all aspects of the Braves technology strategies and operations. He will manage the existing Braves Information Technology department and work with all Braves business and baseball operations departments to best utilize technology to improve all aspects of the Braves organization.
Based upon a completed and comprehensive technology review of the Braves organization by a leading IT consulting company, Gatti's initial focus will be on a list of projects that the Braves have identified as a priority. He will also work to refine and further develop the Braves innovative technologies already in use including, a state-of-the-art CRM system, digital ticketing initiatives, Turner Field Wi-Fi, high definition video and LED systems, player video highlights and statistical archivals.
Gatti will report to the Braves Technology Leadership Team and will relocate to Atlanta.
With over 18 years as an IT professional, Gatti was most recently the Chief Technology Officer for Synovus Financial Incorporated in Columbus, Georgia and before that was with Aflac as their 2nd Vice President, IT Infrastructure Services.
Gatti is a graduate of the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in General Engineering with a concentration in HPA Economics. He received his Master's Degree in International Relations from Troy State University.
