Radio Que Buena-WAZX 1550 AM and 101.9 FM is the official Spanish radio affiliate of the Atlanta Braves
WAZX will broadcast Braves games in Spanish during 2003 regular and postseason

ATLANTA -- Beginning July 1, 2003 Que Buena-WAZX 1550 AM (Atlanta) and 101.9 FM (Gainesville) will be the exclusive Spanish broadcast rights holder for Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves. The Braves and Que Buena inked a three-year deal that will go through the 2006 baseball season. Jose A. Medellin and Marcelo Godoy will be WAZX's Spanish broadcast team for all Braves games. Jose handles the Play-by-Play and Marcelo is the color commentator.

Between both Jose and Marcelo, the Braves Spanish broadcast team has over 35 years of experience broadcasting for teams such as, the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Silverbacks, Green Bay Packers, NBA on TNT, college football for TBS, and the Georgia Force.

Radio Que Buena is the most listened to Spanish station in the market! Georgia Mexico broadcasting, Inc. based in Smyrna, started originally as only one station WAZX 1550 AM in 1993. Over the years the network has grown into four stations adding WAZX 101.9 FM in Gainesville and WGTA 950 AM in Summerville. In Spring 2002 Radio Que Buena expanded to the metro-Birmingham area adding WCOC 1010AM in Dora, Alabama. Spanish-speaking radio listeners, many of whom come from countries where radio plays a central role, listen an average of 22 hours a week.
