The players on each of the 30 clubs have nominated one of their teammates for the Marvin Miller Man of the Year Award, which honors player performance on the field as well as service in the community.

Thanks for voting for the finalists for the award. The six finalists are: Adam Jones (Orioles, AL East), Paul Konerko (White Sox, AL Central), Michael Young (Rangers, AL West), Chipper Jones (Braves, NL East), Skip Schumaker (Cardinals, NL Central) and Barry Zito (Giants, NL West).

Major League players selected Chipper Jones of the Braves as the winner.
