Dustin Pedroia AFL Hall of Fame Induction

Event Information
Dustin Pedroia Hall of Fame Induction

Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia will be inducted into the Arizona Fall League Hall of Fame during pre-game ceremonies on Wednesday, November 5th at Scottsdale Stadium. The induction will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the home plate area prior to the scheduled game between the Salt River Rafters and Scottsdale Scorpions at 6:35 p.m. (Top prospects from the Yankees, D-Backs, Pirates, Giants, Rockies, Mets and other organizations will be featured during the game that evening).

During the ceremonies, Dustin will receive a special gift from the Red Sox organization, a Cooperstown-style bronze plaque and have his AFL number officially retired as a former member of the 2004 Scottsdale Scorpions. Dustin will have the opportunity to say a few words of encouragement to the current AFL players and address the fans by reflecting briefly on his past AFL experience.

The feisty Red Sox catalyst joined Ryan Howard and Albert Pujols as the only members of the AFL Hall of Fame to own MLB MVP and Rookie of the Year Awards. The former Arizona State standout played for the 2004 Scottsdale Scorpions. He was a key contributor to Boston's 2007 and 2013 World Series championship.

Tickets will be available at the Scottsdale Stadium box office beginning one hour before game time.
Tickets are $8.00 for adults; $ 6.00 for senior citizens and youth (17 and under). For additional information, call 480-990-1005.
