Community Leaders is a collaboration between the Houston Astros, the City of Houston and Houston based corporations that will build or refurbish youth baseball and softball fields in disadvantaged neighborhoods throughout the city. Over five years the program will contribute $18 million for youth baseball and softball. Community Leaders is founded on the belief that baseball builds character and helps children grow into healthy, happy, high achieving adults who believe in their ability to realize their dreams.
