Cindy Griffin was planning on coming to Friday's Braves game since the beginning of the season, but nearly two months ago, everything changed when she suffered a mid and upper spinal injury.
After spending time in the ICU, Griffin began her long journey of rehab. As time progressed, her doctors and therapists weren't sure if she would be physically able to make this trip to Atlanta, since walking up stairs is difficult to endure with her condition.
However, Cindy fought through and was finally cleared on Tuesday to make the 351-mile trip from Watervalley, Miss., to Atlanta. More notably, she went down 45 stairs to get to her seat.
