For your convenience, you have the option to have your Cubs Club membership automatically renew at the previous year's price. Your automatically renewed membership may come with premiums (e.g., hat, sticker) of equal or greater value to the items provided as premiums in the previous year, though the exact type of premium(s) provided may change from year to year. Cubs Club will contact members whose memberships are subject to automatic renewal via email by the Spring of the following Major League Baseball season to notify them of their pending renewal. MLB.com will refund the paid purchase price of an automatically renewed 2017 Cubs Club membership if a refund request is received by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org within 10 days of your 2017 renewal date, which will be included in the email sent to the email address associated with your account notifying you of the renewal of your membership. There will be no returns, refunds or exchanges after this date.
All Cubs Club members who selected the automatic renewal option when originally purchasing their memberships and have not canceled or purchased a new membership for 2017 will receive notification of the pending renewal in or around March 2017 and then automatically have their memberships renewed approximately one (1) week later. Gift memberships will not be automatically renewed from year to year. If you would like to provide another Cubs Club membership as a gift, you must purchase a membership annually.
If you purchase a 2017 membership and elect to have that membership automatically renew, your membership will automatically renew approximately in March 2018, unless you contact us by March 1, 2018, to opt to have the automatic renewal feature canceled. You will receive notification of the pending renewal in approximately March 2018 and then automatically have your membership renew approximately one (1) week later. If you do not cancel before the date set forth in your notification email, your membership will automatically renew in approximately March 2018, and will be subject to the refund policy set forth below.
We will contact your gift recipient via email to let him/her know you have purchased a Cubs Club membership on his/her behalf. Please be aware, the recipient will need to register for an MLB.com account and activate the membership using the link in the gift notification email in order to receive the Cubs Club online benefits and welcome package, so please be sure the email address provided is correct.

YOU MUST ACTIVATE YOUR GIFT MEMBERSHIP TO RECEIVE THE BENEFITS OF YOUR CUBS CLUB MEMBERSHIP. The email you receive when you are notified of your gift includes a special link and information on how to activate your membership online. You must click on that link and follow activation instructions.
You must activate your membership by September 30, 2017. However, in order to receive the online benefits of your 2017 Cubs Club gift membership, we recommend you activate your membership as soon as possible. If you do not activate your membership by September 30, 2017, your gift welcome package will be sent at the end of the Major League Baseball regular season to the address provided by the original gift purchaser.

Your Cubs Club welcome package contains your personalized membership card, welcome letter and Cubs Club sticker.
Membership cards and welcome packages will begin to be shipped in March 2017. Please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery. Neither the Chicago Cubs nor MLB.com is responsible for lost or stolen shipments.
