Fans - the United Stated Air Force, in cooperation with the Atlanta Braves, celebrates its 60th Anniversary by transporting an official Atlanta Braves Baseball around the world, visiting Unites States service members in every area of military operation. This promotion is part of the Air Force Week Program.

The Air Force Week program is meant to increase the awareness and support of the public for our Airmen by informing them and involving them in activities that showcase our diverse capabilities and missions, our accomplishments and the sacrifice of our Airmen.

Atlanta is one of six cities throughout the country chosen to host an Air Force Week. Air Force Reserve Command and the 94th Airlift Wing will host and support several events throughout the year in the metro-Atlanta area leading up to Air Force Week, Oct. 8-14.

The theme for the year is "Heritage to Horizons," celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Air Force, its history and the future of the worlds greatest force in air and space.
