Ozzie Virgil
Ozzie Virgil was born on December 7, 1956, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Virgil was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 6th round of the 1976 amateur draft and was 23 years old when he broke into the big leagues on October 5, 1980, with the Philadelphia Phillies. Ozzie played in the MLB All-Star game in 1985 and 1987. Before playing with the Braves, Ozzie played for the Philadelphia Phillies. After leaving the Braves in 1988, he spent time between Triple-A Syracuse and the Toronto Blue Jays before retiring in 1990
