What is The Braves Foundation AutographFest 2009?
A. AutographFest 2009 will take place on January 24th, 2009, and is an opportunity for fans to interact with members of the Atlanta Braves while also supporting the Atlanta Braves Foundation. The Atlanta Braves Foundation receives all donations and proceeds raised during this event.
What is The Braves Foundation?
A. The Atlanta Braves Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Atlanta Braves that actively supports community organizations and their programs within the metro Atlanta area. Since its inception in 1992, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has provided support to thousands of metro Atlanta-based organizations and has annually contributed more than $2.7 million in financial and in-kind assistance to the community. Through the generous support of Braves players, employees, sponsors and fans, the Atlanta Braves Foundation continuously strives to make a positive impact in our community.
Where will AutographFest be held?
A. The 2009 Braves Foundation AutographFest will be held at Turner Field on the Golden Moon Casino Level on January 24th, 2009. This level is indoors and all participating players, coaches and alumni will be meeting fans and signing autographs on this level. The Golden Moon Casino Level will be the only area open to the public during this event.
What are the differences between the two donations for AutographFest?
$20 Donation - Fans can donate $20 to the Braves Foundation for a chance to get as many autographs as possible. Autographs are not guaranteed.
$100 Donation – Fans can make a $100 donation and receive an “Elite Pass” that gets them to the front of all autograph lines. Autographs are not guaranteed.
Do I have to purchase tickets for everyone attending this event?
A. No. You only have to purchase tickets for those individuals that will have access to meet players, coaches and alumni. Access to Turner Field (Golden Moon Casino Level) during this event will be open to the public. Those that have tickets will be given access to meet and request autographs from players, coaches and alumni. One adult (without having a ticket or wristband) may accompany a minor (under 12 years of age) with a ticket or wristband through autograph lines. Only those with a ticket or wristband will be offered the opportunity to meet and receive autographs from players, coaches and alumni.
Can I come to this event and take turns using the ticket with family and friends?
A. No. Each donating fan will be given a wristband upon entering the event. The wristband will not be transferable.
How will I know when players are signing?
A. On the day of the event we will be distributing flyers with the player schedules.
