Where is the tournament being held at in 2013?
The tournament will be held at Wills Park in Alpharetta, GA. The address is:

What time will the tournament begin each day?
Please take a look at the 2013 draft schedule. Your team may be asked to play in ANY time slot.
How long will games last?
Ages 5-8 = 3 innings or 45 minutes. NO NEW INNING WILL BEGIN AFTER 40 MINUTES. If at 45 minutes, the home team is batting and ahead, the game is over regardless of score. The remaining innings will not be completed. The score in play at the end of the time limit is final. Umpires will keep official time.

Ages 9-13 = 6 innings or 1 hour and 30 minutes. NO NEW INNING WILL BEGIN AFTER 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. If at 1 hour and 15 minutes, the home team is batting and ahead, the game is over regardless of score. The remaining innings will not be completed. The score in play at the end of the time limit is final. Umpires will keep official time.
What forms will need to be completed to play in the tournament?
A copy of a birth certificate and an Atlanta Braves waiver are both needed to participate. A waiver must be signed by all players and all coaches participating.
When will the team photo with a Braves player take place?
The team photo will take place Saturday, August 31 at 12:00 P.M. A Braves player will meet with each team and take a group photo. No games will be played during this time.
Will the Braves player sign autographs?
No. Due to time constraints, the Braves player will not be able to sign autographs.
What Braves Player will it be?
The Braves player will not be announced until the week of the tournament. The player is subject to change even after the announcement.
What comes in the Braves gift bag?
An official Atlanta Braves Youth Classic t-shirt, a foam tomahawk, a Braves hat and a Braves sticker will be included in the gift bag.
Will all games be played at Wills Park?
Yes. All fields are located at the park.
Will there be a skills competition?
The 5-8 year olds will participate in three skill competitions on Saturday after the team photo. Coaches can choose one member from their team to participate in all three competitions or choose three members, one for each competition. The three competitions will be a Home Run Derby, Fleet Feet and Golden Arm.
Will there be concessions offered throughout the day?
Yes. A concession stand will be open all three days of the tournament.
Will there be an attendance fee?
No.
Will there be a parking fee?
No. Secured parking will be for free for all attendees at Wills Park. Secured overflow parking will be located next to the park at the Equestrian Center.
Will there be a trophy ceremony?
Yes. Trophy ceremonies will take place on Sunday, September 1 after each championship game.
Can we bring coolers?
Yes. Coolers and food will be allowed. No alcohol will be allowed on the grounds.
Should I bring chairs?
Yes. There are stands located at each field but they will fill up quickly.
Will a trainer be available during the tournament?
An EMT unit will be present throughout the tournament.
Can we purchase extra tickets to the August 31 game?
Yes. All teams will be able to purchase extra tickets to the August 31 game at a discounted rate. Each coach will receive an order form for extra tickets and discounted parking that can be mailed in to the Braves office.
What is the parade at the Braves game?
All participants of the Youth Classic and their friends can walk around the warning track at Turner Field before the Braves Marlins game.
Who can participate?
All participants of the Youth Classic and their friends and families are welcome to participate in the pre-game parade. Everyone must line up on the Hank Aaron ramp located at Turner Field no later than 6:00pm. The Hank Aaron Ramp is located at aisle 131.
What is the Refund/Cancellation Policy?
There will be no refund regardless of the weather or if your team has to back out. The $300 fee is for the 15 Atlanta Braves tickets and those may be exchanged but not refunded. However, if the tournament is canceled due to lack of participation, a 100% refund will be given.
