Youth Baseball Programs

The Braves are committed to sharing with the community one of the skills we know best ... baseball. Our dedication, enthusiasm and respect for the game are visible on and off the field. Through our organization's community outreach programs and activities, including baseball leagues, field renovations and clinics, we strive to foster the spirit of baseball among our youth.

Junior Braves Baseball
The Junior Braves/RBI League sponsored by Delta Air Lines offers over 900 youths in disadvantaged areas where recreation programs are most needed, the opportunity to play in a non-fee summer baseball league. Facilitated through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, the league is open to youths ages 10-18. Under the umbrella of MLB's Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI), the Junior Braves/RBI League is an outreach program designed to increase minority youth participation and interest in baseball, encourage academic participation and achievement, develop self-esteem and teach the value of teamwork. Play Ball Atlanta!
Play Ball Atlanta! is the Atlanta Braves grassroots initiative to promote the team and its commitment to the community through special appearances at youth league baseball and softball games. More >

Community Coach
The Atlanta Braves and Piedmont Hospital value those individuals who have made an impact on young athletes in their community. The Atlanta Braves/Piedmont Hospital Community Coach Award will recognize and reward youth baseball and softball coaches who provide superior levels of leadership both on and off the field. More >

She Can Play
The Atlanta Braves and Publix team up each season for "She Can Play," an educational baseball clinic held at Turner Field, to encourage girls to make healthy choices for their minds and bodies, and enhance their lives through sports and physical activity. More >
