2011 High School Scholarship Program Presented by Publix Super Markets


The 2011 scholarship recipients are honored during a pre-game presentation: L-R: Catherine Chapman, Veronica Fay, Daniel Feuer, Keely Jones, Morgan Jones, Samantha Stevens, Braves infielder Brooks Conrad, and Publix Super Markets District Manager John Gehring

Each season, the Braves and Publix Super Markets team up to award six $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the state of Georgia who have demonstrated strong community service and solid academic performance throughout their high school years.

The 2011 scholarship recipients were honored during an on-field ceremony on May 11 before the Braves' match-up against the Washington Nationals.

  • Daniel Feuer of The Weber School, attending Vanderbilt University
  • Samantha Stevens of George Walton Academy, attending Emory University
  • Morgan Jones of Carver School of the Arts, attending Howard University
  • Catherine Chapman of McIntosh High School, attending Georgia Tech University
  • Keely Jones of Central High School, attending Georgia Tech University
