Pinch Hitter Grant

Pinch Hitter grant

Atlanta Braves supports our local youth sports programs by awarding the Pinch Hitter Grant.

The Atlanta Braves Foundation actively supports community organizations and their programs within the metro Atlanta area. Since its inception in 1994, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has provided support to thousands of metro Atlanta based organizations and has annually contributed more than $6 million in financial and in-kind assistance to the community.

Youth development, sports, and particularly baseball and softball are significant areas of interest to the foundation. Therefore, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has introduced a category of funding specific to youth baseball and softball called the "Pinch Hitter" Grant.

The "Pinch Hitter" Grant has been established to alleviate unforeseen expenses and help organizations in dire need by providing relief for lost or stolen equipment, damaged facilities or for uniform and equipment shortages.
