The Atlanta Braves Foundation grants funds to youth-serving organizations that focus on health, education, and recreation; that have sound financial practices; and whose plans for the requested funds will have a significant impact upon the individuals served by the requesting organization.

The following organizations received grants from the Atlanta Braves Foundation in 2007:
A Friend's House, Inc.
A Friend's House serves as an emergency shelter for at-risk children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected and have been removed from their homes in a time of crisis.
Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Chapter
The Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Chapter works to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
Atlanta Track Club
The Atlanta Track Club is dedicated to promoting health and fitness through programs of amateur road racing, cross-country, and track and field in the spirit of fun and competition.
Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, Inc.
The Brain Tumor Foundation for Children provides emotional, informational, and financial support to families of children with brain tumors, works to increase public education and awareness of the disease and raises funds to support research for a cure.
Canine Assistants
Canine Assistants trains service dogs to enhance and improve the lives of children and adults who have physical disabilities, seizure disorders or other special needs.
Carrie Steele-Pitts Home for Children
The Carrie Steele-Pitts Home for Children maintains a family environment that fosters the physical, social, emotional and mental development of maltreated children and youth.
Childkind, Inc.
Childkind, Inc. provides foster care, adoption placement, family support and youth enrichment services for medically fragile children with developmental and medical changes.
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation
The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation works to enhance the lives of children through excellence in patient care, research and education.
CURE Childhood Cancer, Inc.
CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through research, education and patient and family support.
East Lake Foundation
The East Lake Foundation assists the families of the Villages of East Lake and the children of Charles Drew Charter School, break the cycle of poverty though education, job readiness, affordable housing, and community development.
Georgia Avenue Community Ministry, Inc.
Georgia Avenue Community Ministry provides food for neighbors in need and to do so in a way that the recipients invest in the process to gain ownership in and help create communities in which to exercise their own giftedness and power.
Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention
Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention seeks to eliminate adolescent pregnancy in Georgia by developing, establishing and supporting ideas and program innovations that build local and statewide capacity to promote the healthy development of our most vulnerable adolescents.
Nicholas House, Inc.
To help families move from homelessness to self sufficiency by providing a temporary place to live while identifying and addressing the root causes of a family's homelessness so they don't become homeless again.
North Metro Miracle League
The North Metro Miracle League provides inclusive adaptive sports and social programs for children and adults with and without disabilities.
Ronald McDonald House - Atlanta
Ronald McDonald House provides a safe, caring home away from home for families with critically ill and injured children who are being treated at local hospitals.
Special Olympics Georgia
Special Olympics Georgia provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Study Hall at Emmaus House
The Study Hall is a scholastic after-school and summer camp program serving low income families in the Peoplestown community.
Tomorrow's Champions, Inc.
Tomorrow's Champions provides resources and opportunities for Atlanta's youth to participate in sports while also nurturing their development. The organization has awarded scholarships to athletes needing assistance with sports participation expenses, conducted summer sports camps for underprivileged and at-risk youth, assisted sports leagues in building stable programs and mentored youth athletes.
