On Saturday, June 16, over 200 Braves fans of all ages took part in Braves Family Field Day presented by Publix Super Markets at Turner Field. Participants had the once in a lifetime opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game during a unique clinic hosted by Braves players on Turner Field.

Braves players leading the event included Craig Kimbrel, Matt Diaz, Andrelton Simmons, Jack Wilson, Cristhian Martinez, and Eddie Perez. Participants worked on their pitching technique in the bullpen, practiced catching pop-flys in the outfield, took some reps in the batting cages, and honed their base running skills. After the clinic, guests enjoyed an autograph session and lunch. The event concluded with a behind the scenes tour of Turner Field and the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame. All Braves Family Field Day participants also received tickets for that evening's Braves vs. Orioles game.
