The Atlanta Braves and Piedmont Hospital value those individuals who have made an impact on young athletes in their community. The Atlanta Braves/Piedmont Hospital Community Coach Award will recognize and reward youth baseball and softball coaches who provide superior levels of leadership both on and off the field. Three winning coaches will each receive a $1,000 grant for equipment, uniforms or field improvements for their baseball/softball league or team.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2008 Community Coach Award.
Using the form below, submit an essay of 250 words or less about your coach and why he/she should receive this honor. Everyone who submits a nomination will receive a special Braves 2-for-1 ticket offer!
Deadline for nominations is May 31, 2008.
