The Atlanta Braves and the American Red Cross teamed to help save lives during the 2013 Atlanta Braves All-American Blood Drive on June 24 at Turner Field.
All donors received a pair of tickets to see the Braves take on the Miami Marlins, a commemorative t-shirt, a ticket offer to future Braves games and a chance to win a Braves Family Four Pack, which included four game tickets and a batting practice field visit and autographed baseball memorabilia.
A total of 460 pints of blood were collected at the drive making the Braves All-American Blood Drive one of the largest drives in the state.
Summer is a challenging time to collect enough blood to meet patient needs, and we need as many eligible donors as possible are needed to help us ensure a sufficient blood supply is available on a continual basis.
The Braves and the Red Cross encourage you to schedule an appointment to donate, by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or visiting redcrossblood.org.
