This award honors individuals including breast cancer survivors and community activists that have made exceptional contributions to the fight against breast cancer. The winners of this award were nominated by family, friends, co-workers or volunteers by submitting an entry to the Atlanta Braves.
Courtney Bugler: Breast cancer survivor and Executive Director of Young Survival Coalition - Atlanta.
Eric and Danielle Beverly: Eric Beverly is a former Falcon that spent 10 years in the NFL. Danielle is a three-time breast cancer survivor. They founded Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation in 2006 to provide support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer and were keynote speakers at this season's Atlanta Braves Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
Ruth Eldridge: Breast cancer survivor and founder of the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund in an effort to educate, advocate, and eradicate breast cancer.
Nichole Hancock: Founder of Shades of Pink Breast Cancer Survivors Mass Choir made up of more than 70 breast cancer survivors.
