Each season, the Braves and Publix team up to host Baseball 101, a baseball clinic for women held at Turner Field that teaches hitting, fielding and pitching techniques ... led by Atlanta Braves players!
Participants have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion on topics such as scouting, player development, nutrition, fitness and the nuances of baseball.
The event also includes a luncheon, an exclusive tour of Turner Field and two tickets to that evening's Braves game. All participants receive a t-shirt and gift bag with an autographed item. Proceeds from the event benefit a local women's charity and the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
