Monday, May 2 - King's Ridge Christian School Golf Classic @ Hawks Ridge – John Smoltz and other celebrities will participate along with special guest Chi Chi Rodriguez. Proceeds will benefit the King's Ridge Athletic Department.


Saturday, May 7 - Johnny Estrada will sign autographs at the Braves Clubhouse Store at CNN Center on Saturday, May 7. Johnny will be at the Braves Clubhouse Store from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.

Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 - Atlanta Braves Baseball Equipment Drive - bring new or gently used baseball and softball equipment to Turner Field to our collection bins outside our main gates for a chance to win autographed Braves memorabilia. All equipment collected will benefit the Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Clubs and Atlanta Parks and Recreation baseball and softball teams. For details, call (404)614-1536.

Sunday, May 29 - Braves' Family Day - Come to Turner Field early to take in an unusual sight. Instead of taking batting practice, the Braves challenge their children to a game of wiffle ball on Turner Field!


May, all month - May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) has partnered up with Major League Baseball to build awareness among baseball players and their fans. The Braves organization will be screened on May 24th. The Academy is also hosting free skin cancer screenings for the public throughout the summer months. Tuesday, June 7 - National Hunger Awareness Day - The Atlanta Braves, John Smoltz, Publix Supermarkets & the Atlanta Community Food Bank have partnered to promote National Hunger Awareness Day. Volunteers will be collecting canned food at entry gates. There will be pre-game festivities to highlight NHAD. More info »

Friday, June 10 - Home Run Challenge - Prostate Cancer Foundation - Since 1998, the Home Run Challenge has raised more than $25 million dollars -– funds that have been put to work improving the process of medical research and accelerating the progress against all forms of cancer. The 2005 Home Run Challenge, in partnership with MLB and the MLB Players Association, will again take place the week of Father's Day, June 8-20 with special events scheduled at each stadium. Home runs hit in 60 selected games during the week will raise funds for prostate cancer. This year's event in Atlanta will take place, Friday, June 10, 2005. Join Chipper Jones and Bobby Cox in the fight against prostate cancer. For more information, visit www.prostatecancerfoundation.org. There will also be special autographed items available to bid on at the Atlanta Braves Foundation Community Clubhouse located in the Plaza on June 10. Saturday, June 11 - MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition - Team Championships. Official youth skills competition of Major League Baseball. Sixteen winners between the ages of 7 & 14 advance from local and regional events to compete at Turner Field. The top four scores in each age group from all the Team Championships held nationwide will meet and compete during MLB's All-Star Weekend held this year in Detroit.

Wednesday, June 22- Friday, June 24 - Braves Wives Toy Drive for "Christmas In July" - Braves wives will be collecting toys in the Fan Plaza in exchange for items autographed by their husbands. The toys will later be distributed by Braves players, coaches and broadcasters when they bring "Christmas In July" to selected area children's hospitals.

Saturday, June 25 - It's a Brown Bag Bonanza, as the Braves Wives sell brown bagged packages to fans in the stands to benefit the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. For a donation of $40, fans can pick a "MYSTERY" baseball autographed by a Braves player or Bobby Cox. While supplies last.

Sunday, June 26 - Grand Slam Funbook Essay Winners Party - Elementary schools hosting the Grand Slam Program at their school receive student Funbooks with an essay contest inside. Winners of the essay contest are invited to a pre-game party and Braves game on a pre-selected date. The Grand Prize Winner receives a check for $100 in an on-field presentation.

Wednesday, July 6 - Thursday, July 7 - "Christmas In July" - Atlanta Braves players, coaches, broadcasters & their family members visit and deliver toys collected from the Toy Drive to patients in local children's hospitals and retirement homes.

Saturday, July 9 - Baseball 101 - Learn the FUNdamentals of Baseball! Your day will start with discussions on scouting, player development, the nuances of baseball, nutrition and fitness. Next, you'll participate in a skills clinic on hitting, fielding and pitching...led by Atlanta Braves players and coaches. Class will end with lunch and a goodie bag. Apply your newfound knowledge when you return to Turner Field that evening to see the Braves take on the Milwaukee Brewers. Proceeds to benefit a local Atlanta Women's Charity. To enroll, send in your completed registration card and a check (made payable to the Atlanta Braves Foundation) in the amount of $75. Register now for the opportunity of a lifetime!!

Sunday, July 10 - Braves Youth Advisory Board Bookbag Drive - The Youth Advisory Board's Bookbag drive will benefit Children's Restoration Network's Back2School Campaign. We will once again partner with CRN to collect bookbags for homeless children in the Atlanta area. A 2 for 1 ticket discount will be offered for all NEW bookbags donated at the drive. We will be collecting bookbags from 10:00 a.m 'til 2:00 p.m in Monument Grove.

July-September - 2005 Open Tryout Camps - Have you ever dreamed about becoming a professional baseball player? Well, here's an opportunity to showcase your skills in front of the Atlanta Braves scouting staff. The Braves will host 40 open tryout camps in 2005 throughout the United States and Canada. Players between the ages of 16-23 are encouraged to attend.

Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. - The Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre, 3110 Roswell Rd. NW hosted by Lite 94.9's Randy & Spiff - Join members of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA cast along with Atlanta artists Gwen Hughes and Arlington Priest as they perform an evening of Broadway hits, Jazz classics and soothing melodies. A silent auction including Atlanta Braves memorabilia along with Broadway In Atlanta packages will also be featured. Please Note: The Phantom of the Opera cast WILL NOT be singing songs from the show.

Tickets only $25! Seating is General Admission; All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation and selected Braves Wives charities.
