April 18 - Hit A Homerun For Camp Sunshine This annual event benefits Camp Sunshine, which provides recreational and educational programs for children with cancer and their families. The event will be emceed once again by Atlanta local Jeff Foxworthy. Together with Mr. Schuerholz and the Braves, Foxworthy has helped raise over $250,000 for Camp Sunshine in the past five years through this event. Call 404-872-6977 for more information.

Thursday, May 6 - The Braves welcome TEAM Georgia to Turner Field. This safe and sober driving coalition mans Turner Field's Designated Driver booths this year. Members of TEAM Georgia, will present a token of appreciation to Marcus Giles, their 2004 Spokesperson, in an on-field presentation.

Saturday, May 8 - Baseball Clinic for Special Olympians - The Atlanta Braves will host a baseball clinic for Special Olympics Georgia athletes on May 8 at Turner Field. This is the fourth consecutive year the Braves have invited athletes from Special Olympics to learn fundamental baseball skills of hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching from Braves players and coaches. Teams attending include: Troup County Red Sox, Troup County Twins, Augusta Stars Braves, Nashville, Henry County Big Dogs, Henry County Funky Dogs, Kay Center Tigers, Griffin-Spalding, Special K's, Gwinnett County, Wilkinson County, and City of Decatur. These athletes will return for that evening's game against the Houston Astros and participate in a pregame parade around the field.

Saturday, May 22 - John Smoltz "Close Out Hunger" Food Drive to benefit Atlanta Community Food Bank - From 11 am - 12 noon in Monument Grove outside the Guest Relations window. Bring 20 cans of food for an opportunity to meet John Smoltz (maximum 2 opportunities.)

Wednesday, June 16 - Disability Awareness Night (DAN) at the Braves - Advocates for the disabled are honored by the Braves and Exceptional Parent Magazine in an on-field ceremony. Advocacy groups for the disabled (25 +) are encouraged to attend this game and receive a special group discount (please call (404)577-9100 and mention DAN).

Saturday, June 19 - MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition - Team Championships. Official youth skills competition of Major League Baseball. Sixteen winners between the ages of 7 & 14 advance from local and regional events to compete at Turner Field. The top four scores in each age group from all the Team Championships held nationwide will meet and compete during MLB's All-Star Weekend held this year in Houston.

Sunday, June 20 - Grand Slam Funbook Essay Winners Party - Elementary schools hosting the Grand Slam Program at their school receive student Funbooks with an essay contest inside. Winners of the essay contest are invited to a pre-game party and Braves game on a pre-selected date. The Grand Prize Winner receives a check for $100 in an on-field presentation!!

Wednesday, June 30 – Friday, July 2 - Braves Wives Toy Drive for "Christmas In July" – Braves wives will be collecting toys in the Fan Plaza in exchange for items autographed by their husbands. The toys will later be distributed by Braves players, coaches and broadcasters when they bring "Christmas In July" to selected area hospitals and retirement homes.

Gift with purchase continues - Purchase $125 of MLB Authentic Collection Merchandise Plus (1) pack of MLB licensed baseball cards at the Braves Clubhouse Store at CNN Center and receive a free Game-Used Jersey Trading Card. Treat your VIPS to a catered suite - The Braves Clubhouse Store at CNN Center and Majestic Athletic are giving away a catered Suite to the August 13 Braves game. Fans can register for the sweepstakes in person at the Braves Clubhouse Store at CNN Center starting on Friday, July 9. Registration will continue through Saturday, July 31. No purchase is necessary to participate.

Mark DeRosa Friday, July 16 - Upcoming appearance: Fans, Braves third baseman Mark DeRosa wants every child to have a new bookbag for the coming school year. Mark DeRosa, the Braves and Children's Restoration Network have teamed up to collect bookbags for less fortunate children in the Atlanta area. Terry Pendleton Saturday, July 17 - Upcoming appearance: Braves Hitting Coach and 1991 National League MVP Terry Pendleton will meet fans and sign autographs at the Braves Clubhouse Store at CNN Center on Saturday, July 17. Terry will be at the Braves Clubhouse Store at the special time of 1-2 p.m.

Saturday, July 17 - Baseball 101 presented by Publix. The Atlanta Braves and Publix Super Markets are proud to team up once again this season to present the Baseball 101 Clinic. For the fifth consecutive year Baseball 101 will offer women the opportunity to learn various aspects of the game during a clinic at Turner Field on July 17, 2004.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn batting, fielding and pitching skills from Braves players and coaches. The importance of nutrition, strength and conditioning will also be discussed with a variety of Braves professors ranging from Braves broadcasters to Braves players' wives. At the end of the day, each participant will receive a nutritious lunch, t-shirt, goodie bag and two tickets to that evening's game against the Montreal Expos.

Women who are interested in learning more about America's favorite pastime are encouraged to register soon. Space is limited. The clinic cost is $75.00 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local women's charity. If you have any questions please contact Bryan Carter at 404-614-1327.

Saturday, July 31 - Atlanta Braves Foundation - The Atlanta Braves Foundation, as an organization, strives to meet the educational, social, health, and cultural needs of our community by offering unique resources and financial support to local youth-oriented organizations. To be eligible for a grant, please complete the application and return. The completed application must be received by July 31, 2004, to be considered.

Sunday, August 1 - Atlanta Braves Youth Advisory Board Book Drive - On Sunday, August 1, against the New York Mets, the Braves Youth Advisory Board will be collecting "new and used" books at the Community Clubhouse in the Fan Plaza. All proceeds will benefit neighboring youth schools and programs.

Saturday, September 25 - It's a Brown Bag Bonanza, as the Braves Wives sell mystery baseballs to benefit the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. Wives will sell baseballs in the stands from the 2nd to 4th inning, or while supplies last. For a donation of $40, fans can pick a "MYSTERY" baseball autographed by a Braves player or Bobby Cox.

Saturday, December 11 - Blanket Drive - On Saturday, December 11, the Atlanta Braves Foundation will be collecting new blankets for the Atlanta Community. Bring your blanket to the CNN Center from 1-2 p.m., and receive Johnny Estrada's autograph with your donation. The Braves All-Star catcher will be on hand signing for one hour at the Braves Clubhouse Store. Also, with your donation you will receive a 20% discount on purchases that day at the Braves Clubhouse Store. Proceeds benefit the Hosea Feed The Hungry & Homeless.
